#1 house to home

I haven't been home in a while and, as fall approaches and everything turns greyish, I start to miss it.
So I made a compilation of songs that make me want to grab a cup of hot tea and wrap up in blankets;
a rather unvaried mix with a cosy, home-y feel to it, something to nap to while stretching out on a couch.

Tracklist:
1. Your Protector - Fleet Foxes
2. To Just Grow Away - The Tallest Man on Earth
3. Sunday Morning - The Velvet Underground
4. Heroes - David Bowie
5. Jacking the Ball - The Sea and Cake
6. In the Sun - She & Him
7. My Own Sinking Ship - Good Old War
8. Postcards from Italy - Beirut
9. Wood - Rostam
10.  Going Home - The Branches
11. Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want - The Smiths
12. That Dress Looks Nice On You - Sufjan Stevens
13. I'll Try Anything Once - The Strokes
14. Towers - Bon Iver
15. I Hope That I Don't Fall in Love with You - Tom Waits

    BIO:

"By the side of the sleepy canal . . ." and a beckoning bed of strings. So begins The Hale & Hearty, the debut release from Heyward Howkins. Produced by Chet Delcampo (an accomplished artist in his own right who has been linked with Smokey Robinson, Kid Congo Powers, David Lovering, and Fred Myrow). Like a patchwork suit, it’s equal parts British tweed (see Nick Drake, John Cale, The Smiths) and dusty American flannel (see Bon Iver, M. Ward, Damien Jurado). Heyward has crafted an album with diverse sounds and surprising arrangements that compliment, but never overwhelm, his evocative melodies and lyrics.

    Thanks,

    Heyward
